Holy Cow!

My house is full of boys! Dante and Gretchen are here with their 4 boys, 12, 10, 8, and 6. Needless to say, it is crazy and Mason is having a blast! Tomorrow we are all going to the water park, them having a big BBQ here. I have a few other friends coming over for that, so there will be the 6 older boys and 5 babies, with cam being the oldest...so, it should be fun (and exhausting)! I will update, with pics I am sure, when the weekend is over!

A Day at the lake

Yesterday we spent a few hours out at the lake...it was a perfect morning for it and we HAD to get out of the house for a while!

Not much left...

of my mind that is, but what there is I am rapidly loosing...I need adult contact and conversation!!! On Saturday when we came home from Spokane the boys were sick, so for a few days we were home with that, then my friend Stephanie (who I am usually with) had sick boys...so for a week now, I have really seen no one but my kids...and as much as I love them, I can only take so much alone time with them (plus, I think Cam is starting to teeth...he is cranky). Last night I took the boys on a walk, just to get them out of the house for a while (Guy was playing poker last night, so I was home all day and evening with them) and met a couple of moms on the next street up, so we are going to walk back down in a little while so that Mason can play with their boys for a while...so, maybe, hopefully, I have found some more mommies i can hang out with...I am not sure how much longer I can go like this and still have my sanity...

They get along great!

Well, Mason and Trouble have bonded...the cat is not smart enough to realize that Mason is crazy:) Trouble got his shots yesterday, so he was very tired today. He kept trying to lay down on me, but I was up and down, wrangling Cam (who is EVERYWHERE by the way) and he got fed up with me, so he curled up with Mas. They also really like to play together, they love the fishing pole! I think Mas will be sad when Trouble has to go...

When good babies get sticky

This is what happens when you give Cam a banana...yuck! He was sticky from hair to diaper line, it was gross...I hate sticky! But he loves it! (it always means he gets a bath too, which he enjoys). And he is totally loving trying new foods, he greatly enjoys eating (as you can see by his chunkiness)

105 degrees!

Yep, that was our high today, and it is currently still 104 and I just went grocery shopping...yuck!...I am surprised my food made it home slightly chilled still...I am now sweaty, cranky (from to heat and the EXTREMELY long check out line that is ALWAYS at this walmart) and have a headache...fun fun...at least there is no humidity (only 10%), so instead of breathing water, you breathe dust, but it does not cling to you like Ohio heat at least...ah, life in a desert

Cam's eye site is perfect...

he can find the SMALLEST thing on the carpet to shove in his mouth :) Seriously, like an eighth of an old cheerio or a clear tiny piece of plastic from a juice box straw...I am going to have to start vacuuming everyday now, because he is EVERYWHERE! This is why I wanted to hold off crawling, I am contently fishing something out of his mouth or dragging him from somewhere he does not belong...But, it is cute to watch him get around, he is pretty clumsy still :) He is also pulling himself up on stuff, pulled a laundry basket onto his head yesterday...pretty funny if you ask me, hehe :)

They have loved this box since we brought the highchair home :)

Our relaxing vacation

Well, we have been back from our vacation for a few days now, and I already want to go back :) We had a great time, the cabin was amazing! It was pretty and quiet and just what we needed for a few days. We got to sleep in, eat hot food, enjoy restaurants with no kids and I spent a few hours in the HUGE bathtub that had jets :) While we were there we also explored a little bit. We spent an afternoon in post Townsend shopping and wondering, and we also visited the Fort Worden and Fort Flaggler, which are the other 2 forts, along with Casey that made up the triangle of defense for the sound. It was cool to see the others, since I have been to Casey so many times. The little islands were fun too, the one we were on only has a little general store and that was it besides the houses and boats. We definitely want to go back!
