One more day...

of junk food :) The first of May my house hold is having a lifestyle change (I hate the word diet, I mean come on, it has the word die in it, and this is about living and doing it healthy). I want to be healthy and active so that I can enjoy my kids, and lets face it, just keep up with them, they have WAY to much energy :) With this lifestyle change there are a few things I hope to accomplish; loose weight (around 5-7 dress sizes), with the weight lose I will be able to donate a kidney (if you want more info on this, or want to donate too, just ask!), help my husband to get his diabetes under control so that he can enjoy our kids as they grow, and instill the right way to look at food into my children so that they don't struggle with their weight later in their lives. We are not only changing what we eat, but where that food comes from, by buying what we can organic so that we are putting fewer chemicals in our bodies. We are all getting involved in physical activity, alot of it together as a family (walking and swimming to start), and turning off the t.v. more. I (and hopefully Guy too) am also making 101 goals to be completed in 1001 days. These will be a combination of large and small, personal, family and community goals. I will eventually (once I have it done :)) post that too.

So, thats 3 big things happening in the next year: heatlh/weight, completing goals and making a change in our environment by going green. So, within 2 years I will look and feel fab, have bettered myself and my family through my goals and helped ease the strain on our environment. And at the end of all of this I will be donating a kidney, looking at expanding our family (quite possibly through adoption), and showing off my new body in a bathing suit on some warm beach with just my huband and no kids :) And on that new body (after I donate) I am gonna get a tattoo, somewhere, I have not decided where yet, lets wait and see which parts of my body bounce back the best :)

So join in and better your life (and someone elses) too!
